what is your doctor's advice?  It sounds like questions that he should be answering.
If you want an online dr to answer this for you, the gastroenterology section has one.
this board has no physicians answering questions.

To: Rojan jose,

Rojan jose,

HAV is a liver infection brought on by ingesting (orally) the virus.  After 1-2 weeks of being sick the disease subsides & only in rare cases it causes permanent damage. I wouldn't be too concerned about it given your age & with the assumption that your health is good.
I would wait for my liver to recover fully in a few months-1 year before returning to my pre-HAV lifestyle.

Good luck all,
Ben
