slightly higher sgot and sgpt

by LINCOLE, Jul 18, 2003 12:00AM
I had hepatitis a when i was 16. Now i am 22 years old. Lately i had done a liver function test and the results were as below:

Total Protein: 8.7
Albumin: 5.0
Globulin: 3.7
A/G ratio: 1.4
Total Bilirubin: 1.0
SGOT; 76V
SGPT: 105V
SAP: 142

I know that the SGOT and SGPT increases is due to hepatitis a. What i want to know is whether a past hepatitis patient can have this kind of reading. If the answer is yes, does it mean that my liver is not functioning well?

My second question will be regarding the medicine that i am taking. I am currently taking livolin. Does livollin can improve my liver condition or it is better to take another king of medicine?

Besides this, i am currently suffer from dizziness and sometimes headache. Can the increases in SGOT and SGPT cause this?

And also what kind of food should i avoid from eating to not making worse my liver?
