varying Bilorubin

by jeethmath, Jul 11, 2007 03:10AM
I was diagnosed with "Viral Hepatitis A" last month. Since then I am on a bland diet and having only rice gruel and raddish, as also complete bed rest.

The LFT blood test on 02 Jul indicated
Bilorubin (Total) as 1.6
SGOT -  70
SGPT - 160

I then came to kerala on a months sick leave.

A similar test on 09 Jul had the following results

Bilorubin (Total) - 2.1
SGOT -  48
SGPT -  116

I have started a course of Ayurveda medicines also from the 09 after the test results.

What is the relation between the  Bilorubin count and the SGOT/SGPT figures as they are showing reverse trends.

Anyone...please advice
