Autoimmune Hepatitis Questions

Hi everybody!
I was hoping somebody could tell me why people with autoimmune hepatitis can't take peginterferon and ribavirin therapy? What would happen if they did the therapy?
Thanks, I was just doing some research and I can't find an answer anywhere.

Hector, I believe she has been diagnosed with hep C. I think the question is what happens if the hcv patient also tests positive for autoimmune factors.

In some cases SOC is not indicated, but I do not know much about it. You might know more about this situation
