My 18 year old daughter was diagnosed with autoimmune hepatitis in Oct 2007. The hepatologist says that it was caused by the minocycline that she was taking for acne. She has some scarring on her liver and is currently taking prednisone. The doctor hopes that this won't be a lifelong disease since it appears to be drug induced. This has been and still is, very frightening for us. I pray a lot.
