Yun nga ang masaklap sa sakit na ito mahirap makahanap ng employment dito sa Pinas. Kulang ang information nila sa sakit na ito kaya tayo dinidiscriminate. Oo di naman lahat ng pagkakataon through sex ito nakukuha. Kahit ako clueless kong saan ko pa ito nakuha hindi naman sa sex dahil di ako nag-eengage sa ganung bagay. Malamang sa dental or sa mga tahi ko nung bata pa ako. Prevention talaga ang mas maganda minsan nga gusto kong sisihin ang nanay ko kasi nun papabakunahan niya na daw ako sa Hepa B nun kaso may ubo at sipon ako nun kaya hindi natuloy at medyo nakalimutan niya na rin.

I have Hepa B findings sa screening at profile ko. Since 1990 alam kong meron na ko nito, kaya di ako naka pag abroad. Burado na sa pangarap ko na mag work abroad bcoz of Hepa B. But on 2005, another oppurtunity of working abroad knocks my door. Still My Medical Exam Certificate for working abroad indicated that still I am not fit to work abroad. I've prayed a lot to our Good Lord Jesus that if it is really HIs will for me to go Abroad. Let His will be done. I pursued going here in qatar kasi may plane ticket na ko eh, kahit pa may Hepa B findings ako.(direct hire kasi ako), bahala na. God's will kung ganun parin ang findings sa mediccal exam ko dito sa qatar eh di pauwiin ako. All expense pay namn ng company ung trip ko. Pero before na umalis ako ng pinas My Doctor told me to make an affidavit, that i insisted in going to qatar even though i hepa b and im not fit to work.

Then after a week of my work here in qatar, they subjected me for medical exam, Hayyyy very nervous ako. i keep on praying day and night for God's miracle. Alam nyo namn kung gaano ka strict dito sa middle east. Once na makitaan ka na may contagious disease ka..right away dadalhin ka sa airport at pauuwiin ka. Guess what the result is..

I AM NEGATIVE WITH HEPA B...NO TRACE OF IT AT ALL..

THIS IS GOD'S MIRACLE... AND I OWED THIS TO HIM.

Now im still here, 5 years na ko sa Doha Qatar working as Engineer. Keeping my faith with the Lord God Jesus. Dont lose hope, God is mercyful. He alwyas have good plans for us.

Nagpamedical din ako sa GAMCA clinic at sinabi na reactive daw ako sa hepa. Nagpatest ako sa dalawang hospital at negative naman ako, pero insist ng gamca clinic na may 16 counts ako. I just wonder kung nagsasabi sila ng totoo kasi marami ako nababasa na anomalya sa gamca clinics. Tinest ulet ako ng gamca clinic tapos positive pa rin. Ang advice sakin ng agency ko is to go to DOH para dun magpatest at kung mag negative daw ako wala na magagawa ung gamca clinic na yun.

Ang basa ko sa profile mo may hepatitis B ka nasa non infectious state. Pero di ko alam kung acute ba yung hepatitis b mo kasi yung anti Hbc Igm mo eh magkaiba yung isa nonreactive at yung isa reactive.

Dubai may stop deporting expatriate TB cases
Dubai is likely to stop deporting expatriates with tuberculosis, according to a senior health official.

Officials in Abu Dhabi say they are watching Dubai closely, and would also support a change.
Under federal law, any expatriate who tests positive for the infectious disease must be deported.
Dubai is now considering opting out of this law.

Dr Ali al Marzouqi, the head of public health and safety at the Dubai Health Authority, said all the health authorities were in agreement that the law was outdated and drove cases underground. “Everyone agrees,” he said.

“It is not unlikely that Dubai will change its rules and stop deporting people. We have seen that this is not that effective and the population has changed a lot since the law was introduced.”

Officials from the Ministry of Health and the health authorities in Dubai and Abu Dhabi met in June to unify their treatment guidelines for the disease, which date back to 2002.

There were 434 cases of TB last year in Dubai and Abu Dhabi alone. Of these, all but 93 were expatriates who were deported.

The current law does not state whether patients should be treated for their TB before deportation, and handling of cases varies between emirates and even individual doctors.

Everyone applying or renewing their work or residency visa must undergo a medical fitness test that screens them for a number of deportable diseases including HIV/Aids, leprosy and TB.

According to the Ministry of Health, in 2007, the latest year for which figures are available, there were 81 cases of TB registered in the Northern Emirates.

Dr al Marzouqi said officials have discussed the importance of early TB detection and “complete treatment”, which would help reduce its spread.

The risk of deportation meant expatriates were instead tempted to avoid diagnosis, increasing the risk of spreading the disease, he said.

Another problem is that each emirate has a different regime for reporting, treating and following up positive cases. All the authorities are working to create one set of guidelines based on international standards.

If left untreated, TB can be fatal. There are a number of complications associated with the TB bacteria such as lung damage and meningitis. It can be treated with antibiotics.

Dr Salim Abid, the manager of public health and research at HAAD, said the authority would be watching Dubai closely and would “welcome any change in the law”.

“Both in terms of follow-up for positive cases and the long-term future of these cases,” he said. “There is no good reason why they should be deported.”

That sentiment was echoed by Dr Bassam Mahboub, the head of the Emirates Respiratory Society. “It’s easily treated,” he said. “Once you identify TB, then you can treat it and you don’t need to deport.”

A 1981 federal law on the “prevention of communicable diseases” set out the country’s health and deportation rules.

It required doctors to report cases of HIV/Aids, tuberculosis, syphilis, among others, to the Ministry of Health within 24 hours.

An update to the law in 2008 ordered officials to “remove all positive cases” of people with HIV/Aids, old or new cases of TB, leprosy and syphilis, hepatitis B and C.

In Abu Dhabi last year there were 145 registered cases of syphilis, 93 of them in expatriate patients. Of almost 1,000 cases of hepatitis B and C, three quarters were expatriates.

Tama, at first mawawalan ka talaga ng gana sa buhay pero unlike any other diseases, ndi ka nman mamamatay agad kung aalagaan mo lang sarili mo. Imagine, ako meron na akong hepa-B since birth but then nung nalaman ko im 28 na. Genetic kasi ung hepa ko. So far, 2 kami sa family na nadetect though my mom dont want na mascreen sya ng Hepa-B to further prove na genetic nga ung disease. Nakakatakot kasi ndi ko alam. meaning meron talaga nawawala ang virus kahit di nman nag-take ng gamot or by "natural seroconversion" pero maliit nga lang ang percentage. kaya di rin nkapagtataka na meron talaga carrier na gumagaling. syempre,samahan din ng healthy lifestyle at clean living maaring isa ka sa mga maliit n percentage na iyon n mawala ang virus. Hi to all,

sa mga nag-apply abroad I would like to share my experience...

April 2010 nung I nagtry ako for qatar for an engineering job at resulta...declared ako na unfit ng clinic because of my a reactive hbsag. I am dissapointed dahil di na nga talaga ako natuloy. Now I have this another oppurtunity for Korea naman and still I have my results as unfit as declared by the clinic ng agency. I was upset, once again, but then I have meet a person, same case kami but he's working in Malaysia. He informed me na nakapunta siya dun because of medical waiver. Bale well informed yung company niya sa situation niya. Ang advise lang niya is alamin talaga yung country if it is strict or not. Sa middle east I think very strict but as from him Malaysia and Singapore were not strict.

Dahil gusto ko talaga makalabas this time I went again to a specialist and here's my results:

HBV Viral Load: 3205 IU/ml
ALT: 18 U/L
HBe Ag: Non-Reactive
HBSag: Reactive
Anti-HBe: Reactive

Based from the above lab results nabigyan ako ng medical clearance and permitted ako to work as an engineer without restrictions (non-infectious + healthy carrier). The next step is pumunta ako sa agency. According to the agancy possible nga na mawaive yung case ko. Ang gagawin nila is they will send the "UNFIT" medical results at yung "FIT" na galing sa isang specialist. If the company will agree then thats the time na they we'll arrange a waiver as well as the agency will tell the CLINIC (agency's clinic) na pumayag yung employer. Thats the time na the CLINIC will alter UNFIT into FIT.

Right now im waiting for the employers response if they will waive or not. Well I just hope sana naman pumayag sila, please pray for us.

Nashare ko to and I hope wag sana tayong mawalan ng pag-asa. If time comes na UBFIT ang lalabas try to find a specialist's opinion at coordinate din kayo sa agency or sa employer and try to ask if waiver is possible. The series of test well be medyo expensive but its worth to give a try.

Hi. I'm new here.
I'm 30 years old with 2 kids. I've known I'm HBsAg reactive since I was 16 years old. I inherited it from my mom. Actually, my brother and I are both HBsAg reactive. Anyway, that didn't stop me from living a normal life. I graduated from UP and worked here in the Philippines before I landed a job in a cruise ship in 2004. I thought that I will not be accepted and declared unfit pero they took hepa profile and it turned out I am a non infectious, healthy carrier. I worked a total of 6 contracts and underwent and passed 6 pre employment medical here in the Philippines. I stayed onboard until my 5th month of pregnancy with my 1st child. In 2008, I decided to  stay in the Philippines to take care of my child. My 2nd child is 5 months now and I'm planning to go back and work on the ship early next year.
I am not sure if I will be allowed to go back because I haven't taken any tests or monitored my illness but I am optimistic that I can go back.
I can feel all your sentiments. I've been there before but I advise you never to give up and lose hope.
Our God is bigger than our illness.
He has plans for us. Good plans.
We have to trust Him.
If you want something, be optimistic and the universe will conspire at your side.
God has very good plans for us.

I had a hepa b test before and it was non reactive ... my count is 0.10 then the cut off is 0.45 .... after 4 months i have a hepa b test again and it appears to be reactive.... my count is 3.120 and the cutoff value is 0.45 ....grabe ... I dont know how it happens...

anyway i found out that i have hepa since 2008 dahil sa madical sa schoolo.. i'm a nursing student kasi as 1st year that time,, now 3rd na ako but still heto prob ko parin sakit ko..

yesterday i just had my lab test in freindly care mandaluyong..hopefully mga lab tast ko may nice result na..by friday punta ako NKTI for my DNA lab..

i've been taking BARACLUD since then and until now.. but i guees it's not that effective though low na percentage ng viruses ko from 2008 result na over 100,000 na viruses less than 20 nalng viruses ko last six months ago..

my doctor sai okay daw kasi far na ako magkaroon ng liver cancer but still i am positive..

guys kung sino man may alam na other effective medicine please reply..

              DISCOVERING A NATURAL CURE FOR HEPATITIS

  `After contracting hepatitis  B  during  surgery, here's how one
             physician fought back and cured himself.'

                                     By Karolyn A. Gazella

Carson B. Burgstiner, M.D., was at the height of his  career. He had
developed a thriving  practice  as  an  obstetrician/gynecologist in
Savannah, Georgia. A highly trained  and  skilled  microsurgeon, Dr.
Burgstiner was devoted to his profession. But his profession  nearly
cost him his life.

                         THE ORDEAL BEGINS

"In 1983, I contracted hepatitis B after I had stuck my finger while
operating on an infected patient," recalled Dr.  Burgstiner, who was
49 at the time.

The discovery of  the disease and the disasters that followed nearly
devastated Dr. Burgstiner and his wife, Jacque.

After his diagnosis, Dr. Burgstiner notified the Centers for Disease
Control (CDC) and the Georgia State Board of Medical Examiners. They
provided guidelines for  him  to  follow.  Because  he  intended  to
cooperate fully, Dr.   Burgstiner volunteered to have  his  patients
undergo epidemiologic studies.

His patients stood  behind  him  through his ordeal, Dr.  Burgstiner
explained. "I was very fortunate  to  have  such loyal patients," he
said.

Unfortunately, the local  media  soon learned that Dr.  Burgstiner's
patients were being tested for hepatitis.   Headlines  on  the front
page of the morning newspaper declared: "Source of  Local  Hepatitis
Outbreak Discovered!"

A detailed account of Dr. Burgstiner's diagnosis was included in the
article. Immediately, his    successful    practice   and   sterling
reputation were jeopardized.

"The CDC and the local health department  proved that none of the 26
reported cases of  hepatitis in the county were patients  of  mine."
Dr. Burgstiner said.   The   newspaper   subsequently   published  a
retraction on its back page.

The publicity added even more stress for the Burgstiners.

"After 26 years of medical practice  without  a  lawsuit, suddenly I
had two past  patients  who  claimed that exposure  by  surgery  had
caused their hepatitis  B,"  said Dr. Burgstiner.  As it turned out,
both patients were infected by other sources.

Dr. Burgstiner was  forced  to  discontinue   obstetrics  and  major
surgery, limiting his   practice   to  minor  surgery   and   office
gynercology. He was an aggressive, motivated physician, and it was a
painful transition.

"The economic and emotional impact was truly devastating," he said.

                      DOCTOR BECOMES PATIENT

Coping with the  shock of local publicity as well as the frustration
of having to refer all of his patients  to colleagues for obstetrics
and major surgery  was  just  the  beginning  of  Dr.   Burgstiner's
struggle. The devastating  side  effects and fear of dying from this
disease began to surface.

"A chronic hepatitis B carrier in  the United States today has a 255
percent chance of dying of liver cancer," he said. "There is clearly
an epidemic of  hepatitis  B,  with  over 300,000  new  cases  being
diagnosed yearly."

The fear also haunted Dr. Burgstiner's wife.

"I remember when my husband and I attended a conference where one of
the speakers was discussing hepatitis B," Mrs.  Burgstiner recalled.

This was when  she realized the severity of her husband's condition.
Their fear and  concern  fueled their  determination  to  fight  the
disease. The devoted doctor soon became and equally devoted patient.

"I've always believed strongly in the teachings of  my  professor of
pathology, W.A.D. Anderson, M.D., who taught me that if you maintain
normal physiology, you prevent disease," Dr. Burgstiner explained.

Dr. Burgstiner is  the  first to admit that he is somewhat unique in
the medical establishment.

"For the past  29 years I have believed  in  preventative  medicine,
nutrition, exercise, and  hormonal replacement,"  he  said.   "If  a
gland dries up, you need to replace it."

This philosophy virtually saved his practice and his life.

Other than the  hepatitis B, Dr. Burgstiner was in excellent health.
He asked himself, what gland could be deficient? What gland could he
support in order  to combat his hepatitis:  Armed  with  a  thorough
understanding of the human body, he realized the  thymus  gland  was
the key.

   THE CRUCIAL THYMUS GLAND

"I had always  been  taught  that the thymus gland (which is located
within the upper chest) is large  in  infants  but  atrophies  as we
age,"" he said.  "The  thymus  gland has always been  credited  with
controlling the immune system."

Because hepatitis B  is  an  immune disease, Dr. Burgstiner sought a
nutritional supplement containing  thymus tissue extract. He visited
his local health food store, Brighter Day in Savannah.

Dr. Burgstiner began  taking  a  thymus  tissue extract  supplement,
along with 25,000  units  be  beta  carotene and a multiple vitamin.
Within three weeks, after a seven-year  battle  with  an "incurable"
disease, the E-antigen became weakly positive and the  liver studies
turned up normal.

"After being tested  every  week  for  seven  years, I almost didn't
believe the test results," Dr. Burgstiner  said.   "Before  I shared
the news with Jacque, I waited until a few more tests came back."

"I was so  happy.  My  prayers had been answered," Mrs.   Burgstiner
said.

After another three   weeks  of  following  his  own  protocol,  Dr.
Burgstiner became E-antigen negative  and  antibody positive. He was
cured of hepatitis. To confirm his finding, he notified  the CDC and
had blood drawn  at Candler Hospital, which was sent to Mass General
(Harvard) and Scripps  Institute   in  California.  These  prominent
health facilities conducted many tests on his blood, and all of them
showed there was absolutely no trace of the virus in his system.

Dr. Burgstiner shared  his  good  news  with a colleague  he'd  been
communicating with about   hepatitis   research.   Dr.    Milton  G.
Mutchnick, a gastroenterologist/hepatologist    at    Wayne    State
University in Detroit,,  Michigan, had published controlled  studies
where he converted  75  percent of his patients who were hepatitis B
carries.

"I was planning  on getting into  his  next  treatment  group,"  Dr.
Burgstiner explained. "When  I  called  him  and  told  him  that  I
converted myself, he asked what I took."

When Dr. Burgstiner  told  him he was taking an oral thymus extract,
Dr. Mutchnick explained that he was  using  thymus injections in his
studies. After their   conversation,   Dr.   Burgstiner   sent   Dr.
Mutchnick a bottle  of  the  oral thymus supplement. Dr. Mutchnick's
preliminary tests with  the product  have  him  the  same  startling
results.

Today, Dr. Burgstiner is excited about the potential for helping
others. "The impact  of  thymic  hormonal  replacement  has enormous
potential in immune system diseases, from allergies and hay fever to
rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, cancer,  and  AIDS,"  he  said.   "This
simple glandular hormone could answer a lot of prayers."

Understandably, Mrs. Burgstiner   is  thrilled.  Her   husband   has
regained his thriving  practice,  but  even more importantly, he has
regained his health.

"I've gotten a second chance, and I want to help as many people as I
can," Dr. Burgstiner said.

                        DEALING WITH HEPATITIS

Hepatitis is an  infection of the  liver  caused  by  the  hepatitis
virus. Basically, there are two main strains of the hepatitis virus.
Hepatitis A is  more  common  and more contagious.  The  chances  of
complete recovery from hepatitis A are very good.

Hepatitis B, on   the  other  hand,  is  much  more  serious.   With
hepatitis B, the symptoms are more  severe and last longer than with
hepatitis A. One  of  the more serious outcomes of  hepatitis  B  is
chronic liver disease.

TRANSMISSION: Transmission of   hepatitis   B  is  very  similar  to
transmission of the AIDS virus. Common  sources of infection include
blood transfusions, intravenous  drug abuse, needle  punctures  from
acupuncture or tattooing, and sexual contact.

The virus can  spread  through  contact  with infected saliva, nasal
mucus, sperm and blood. Hepatitis  B may also be transmitted through
pregnancy from the infected mother to her unborn baby.

SYMPTOMS: The symptoms of any type of hepatitis include  fatigue  or
extreme weakness, jaundice  (yellowing of the skin and the whites of
the eyes), nausea,  dark  brownish   urine,   fever,  and  abdominal
discomfort. The severity  and range of symptoms vary  from  case  to
case.

DIAGNOSIS: Hepatitis is  suspected when the above-mentioned symptoms
are present. Exact diagnosis is confirmed  by  specific  blood tests
that determine elevated liver enzymes and measure antibody activity.

TREATMENT: Although there is presently no known cure  for  hepatitis
B, a vaccination  is  available.  Health care workers are especially
encouraged to get the vaccination.

Various nutritional factors should be considered in the treatment of
hepatitis B. Many  natural  liver-supporting   techniques  are  also
recommended. The use  of  an  oral  thymic  fraction  supplement  to
convert hepatitis B  carries  is  presently  being  explored in more
detail.

Because hepatitis A  is  so  contagious,  scrupulous  sanitation  is
essential. Clothing and bed linen require special handling when they
are visibly soiled, and should be laundered with  a  detergent  that
kills germs. Contaminated  toilets and floors should be cleaned with
a disinfectant.

Patients with hepatitis A are advised to get plenty of bed rest.  In
the first few  weeks of the infection, alcohol is prohibited.  After
a bout with  hepatitis  A,  patients  develop  an  immunity  to  the
disease.

may isang doctor sa US na chonic hep B yung case nya, she took thymus extract capsule, then within 2 weeks cleared na siya sa hep b virus, baka may nabibili dito sa pinas na thymus extract, try nyo, ang thymus gland kasi dito nagma mature yung antibodies na lumalaban sa virus. so far walang cure talaga pag chronic.

as my research findings, wala pa daw po gamot sa HBV but you know what? we have the most capacity to heal.. our body is continuously healing itself by providing wbc that fights virus and bacterias and our cells are continuously regenerating as if like you are being born again every year.. the least we can do is to eat a balance diet and be healthy, who knows now you are positive and the other day you could get rid off all the virus and create antibodies like some of us here.

hello miss bianca, actually i had contact with a positive person on may of 2007 and last week of april of 2009 symptoms started to manifest. by the last week of april of 2009 i started to feel discomfort and pain sa stomach ko and few days later i felt like sick, may lagnat ako then my urine turned dark as if like coke tapos i went sooner to my doctor and he diagnosed me as HBV positive. so technically symptoms appeared after 2 years (2007-2009 may to last week of april). nagtataka nga ako eh kasi yung incubation period sakin was longer than usual... bakit kaya ganun? anyway, by december of 2009 i was hospitalized for appendicitis where i was tested for several test including blood test. i've told the doctor that i am positive of hvb kaya they needed to test my blood and i was amazed when she announced that i am hvb-negative. sabi nga nya sakin "Mr. baka hepa c yung sayo kasi yung virus na yun nawawala ng natural" then i told her "doc, i assure you it was hepa b virus, my other doctor diagnosed me such and i myself seen the result." ayun po, sabi nya "thank God you are now negative". after that event i never had myself checked again, now its 2011 and i am living life naturally, i never felt pain in my stomach again, i dont pee dark urine and i dont feel the feeling of symptoms like nausea and vomitting.My color is normal yet im still afraid whenever i thought i could have the virus again.. thank you na nahanap ko to'ng site na to so that i could share my experience to others.. by monday i will rush to hospital and have blood test kasi di ko na na check, natakot naman ako bigla kasi sabi mo po dapat every month mag pa blood test. hehehe... 2 years nako walang blood test.. hhee

hello prince, im very very knowledgeable sa hep b coz im a nurse, kung 2007 ka nagkaroon ng contact with the person na may hep b dapat 90 - 180 days lang lalabas na yung symptoms coz its an acute case, i think sa iba mo nakuha yung hep b year 2009 na pero ur just unaware of it. nope prince hindi every month dapat magpa blood test, since you have cleared the hep b virus, ang kunin mo na blood test ay HBsAb or antiHBs, its an antibody for hep B, kung meron ka nito (for sure meron) sa blood mo meaning you're protected in your entire life, you will never have hep B again, but it does not apply sa hep A and Hep C. acute case yung hep B mo coz may symptoms ka like me before, yung chronic kasi wala, yung may mga chronic case yun sila ang kawawa coz they are infectious sa buong buhay nila unless they are healthy carriers.

Good day guys!!! hindi kona nabasa lahat ng stories nyo kasi andami na. I do apologize for ngayon lang ako nagpost dito..all these i’m going to tell you is true, this is only my case. It may not apply to you, treatment-wise, but i just feel obliged to share it to you, because God wanted me to.

I’m 26 y/o, licensed engineer....straight guy but no girlfriend, for reasons takot akong mka hawa since i first knew i was infected...

well, here's my story:

I was diagnosed in july 2010 when i was about to donate blood in a major hospital in manila. at that time, i was confused kasi ako nalang naiwan dun at indi pa ako tinawag, lahat nung after sakin nkapagdonate na..nilapitan ko ang isa sa mga nurse at tinanong kung bakit wala pa results ko..at first indi ako mkapaniwala, di korin alam kung ano ang hepa B..the nurse told me that i was not called to donate because i have HBV..i was shocked!!! really shocked!!!

Major symptoms: tiredness, fatigue, dark urine, loss of confidence, confusion...

I then told my parents about it first my mom and then my dad and then my sisters...
just to verify the results, we went to have the hepa profile to find out the details of the infection. damn, the test itself was expensive..it was like 7k in all, not to mention the meds the docs have given me to take..

Here was the initial result:

HbsAg - 2651 - reactive
Anti-Hbs - 2.0 - non reac
Hbeag - 504 - reactive
anti Hbe - 2.29  - non reac
anti HbcIgM - 0.122 - non reac
anti HbcIgG - 0.268 - reactive
anti HCV - 0.433 - non reac

SGPT - 827 (normal is 42 U/L)  - this is like 20x normal range, absolute way out!!!
HBV DNA viral load - 261, 703 IU/ml --- like every cell in my body has the virus

NUMERICAL ANATOMY CLEARLY STATES THAT I'M A CHRONIC HEP B CARRIER
THE NUMBERS WERE JUST ASTRONOMICAL!!!!!!!

i went to 2 doctors, same recommendation - GET MEDICATION as early as possible..
i just can't imagine how i can afford such meds where each of it cost Php400 a tablet..not to mention you'll take it everyday for the rest of your life...

then i went to the  THIRD doctor, which happens to be my dad's doctor, an alternative medicine practitioner...

he took a glance on the results and did not even bother to analyze it...

well, here were his recommendations:
1. 3000 mg of vit C a day, if you got sick, double the amount, or you can have up to 10kmg
depending on your body tolerance
-in order to gauge tolerance,  try taking as many tablets as possible, stop if you get diarrhea-like symptoms, that would be your limit, mine is about 12k mg
2. 2 tablets of 400UI vit e a day (myra E is good)
3. unlimited vegetables, less carbo
4. sufficient amount of fats (meat, chicken (skin), pork) - for vit e absorption
5. exercise regularly
6. 8 hours of sleep a day
7. stress avoidance
8. NO ALCOHOL/SOFTDRINKS/CIGAR
9. water therapy - at least 10 glasses per day,, better if more - for vit c absorption
-vitamin C is useless w/o water therapy, it needs water to be dissolved in the body
10. be happy, avoid watching sad movies
11. be with people
12. sillimarin capsule 2x a day – for the liver to recover
12. use protection/condom ALWAYS
13. NO FRUITS – avoid sweets, vitamin C is enough
- fructose has the same molecular structure as vitamin c; if there are many fructose present in the body, vitamin C may have a difficult time binding to a healthy cell
-in other words, vit c needs the kind of receptors fructose is capable of binding also into in order to serve it’s function
-if those receptors are already occupied by fructose, vitamin c cannot protect or bind to the cell, hence useless
-why take fruits when you can get what you want in a vit c tablet?
14. PRAYERS PRAYERS PRAYERS!!!!!

I did add some herbal medicinal wine from a brand name called ‘moreishi’...2 table spoons a day
Above mentioned is simple, yet very difficult to follow regularly. I did not take any alcohol for 5 months since then, just pure water.



Pricing: Vit C 500mg – 1 bottle rhea (brand) - 100 tablets – Php 125
              Vit E 400UI – 1 bottle myra brand – 30 tablets – Php 310 (may promo sa mercury, 8 tabs for a  
               price of six tabs)
              Sillimarin – any brand 30 tablets– Php 500-600
            
COMPARED TO PHP 400 a tablet prescribed by the other doctors.

By the time i took the second results, I was nervous because the laboratory called me to get second samples of my blood. I was so scared, maybe i have another disease that may not have been discovered before or maybe i need to get medication right away. They even asked me what medicines i took.

5 months later (December 2010):
HbsAg - 0.595 - non reactive
HbeAg - 0.127 - non reactive
SGPT – 33 – WOW!!!!  my liver is well and OK now

-these two, surface antigen(HbsAg) and envelope (HbeAg, the contagious component) are the basic ones to detect if you have HBV or not, the rest are just plain secondary variables; i did not took viral load test since it's too expensive (Php 5000)

POINTS PONDER AND UNDERSTAND:

1. the body has the capability to fight off infection; it can produce armies, in this case, antihbs/antihbe, to eliminate hbv; the natural way, is the better way
2.you cannot eliminate the virus itself through medication, why kill it by taking in antiretrovirals? – it can kill you with adverse effects; on top of that, they are very expensive
3.why create artificial killing machines, while you can utilize your own – supplements and proper diet plus healthy lifestyle can do the job
4. western medicine is ‘symptomatic’, meaning it cures the symptoms not the actual cause of the symptoms.
Yes,  hep b is caused by the HB virus. But why does hep b penetrated into your system in the first place?
This is because of poor or low immunity. Why not strengthen it so it can heal itself? Poor immune system cannot cope up with the rapid multiplication of the virus, resulting to outnumbering the helper cells needed to fight infection. That is why you need plenty of supplements (vit c/e) for rapid production of fighter cells in order for seroconversion to take place.
-seroconversion – the moment when the body starts making antibodies (anti HBs/anti HBe)to fight the infection
- Makes sense? of course, if you have senses...
5. Chronic hep b accounts only to 2% of the total infected people.. most of the infection is gone because the body naturally gets rid of it. If the body cannot get rid of it for about 6 months, because of low immunity, then it will lead to chronic stage. The problem is, HBV is 50-100 times more contagious than HIV, making it very difficult to prevent. The result is about 2 billion at least or more are living with HBV (chronic/non chronic) worldwide. Many of whom do not even notice they are infected. The earlier you get diagnosed, the better. Because our disease can lead to liver cancer if not treated early.

I was very happy at the time i got the second results.
I need to add something, TRUST GOD above else and BELIEVE than you can be cured. This experience taught me a lot.

             Yun po bang coconut virgin oil is effective to decrease or even cure the patient for the hepa b virus? hi I am nurse, and everytime I'm thinking of my situation I feel hopeless. I lost the oppurtunity in working abroad because of the policy of the company and the agency itself. It was 8years then when I discover that i had the hep b virus infectious state, when I tried to had my application for work abroad they denied me because of my cause. I had a friend in Qatar his inviting me as a company nurse and I'm afraid that i might been rejected[again] if they found out that I had the disease. I guess Its more than a human rights violation. Pinapatay na nila ang karapatan natin na mamuhay nang tama at mag karuon nang marangal na trabaho. Share ko lang how i was diagnosed with hep B (Chronic Non-Reactive Carrier) Di raw nakakahawa sabi ng doctor.
When I was about to donate blood for my nephew with leukemia last 2004 dun ko lang nalaman na meron pala ako hep b. Siyempre rejected agad blood ko sa Red Cross. Then I look around for second opinion (mapilit talaga mag donate) try ko ulit sa ibang hospital sa private, then talagang di pwede ako..so nag decide ako na magpa check up sa Gastroenterologist at dun nga nalaman na may Hep B ako pero Non-Reactive ako at carrier lang...Graduate na ako nun ng college pero matumal nga yung work na napasukan ko at nag decide ako na mag-aral ulit ng nursing. Sa katunayan nga binigyan pa ako ng clearance ng doctor ko na pwede ako mag-aral nursing pero sa kahihiyan ko tinago ko yung requirements para lang pumasa ako sa school sa clearance. Ayaw ko kasi malaman nila na may Hep B ako. Ayun lumusot naman. Sa madaling sabi naka graduate ako ng Nursing and naging Registered Nurse nung 2007. Nakakuha naman ako ng 4 months training dito sa amin. Dahil nga sa pangarap maghanap ng mabuting pagkakakitaan nagbakasakali na akong mag-abroad patungong Libya 2010,  dala ko na lahat ng papers kasama na clearance and recommendation from my doctor na fit to work ako kasi di naman daw ako nakakahawa dahil carrier lang ako. Pumasa naman ako sa interview at nung magme-medical na ako sinabi ko naman na sa doctor na mag-eexamine na meron ako recommendation from my gastroenterologist AYUN sinabi ko palang di raw ako pwede mag trabaho sa ibang bansa bilang nurse..

hello po, nitong june 2011 pumunta ako sa UAE abu dhabi nung time na natangap ma ako sa work at mag medical na wala akong kakaba kaba kasi lagi ako pa medical negative naman, but nung nasa abu dhabi ako nagulat ako sa result may hepa b positive nakalagay sa result., at kinabukasan uwi ako dito sa pinas, .. after 3 days sinabi ko na din sa family ko ang sakit ko., sobrang nag alala sila lahat sa akin., yung kamag anak namin na doktor ni refer ako sa specialst nitong sakit na ito, pa 2nd opinion pa kami, si LORD lng pag asa ko kung totoo ba yung resulta sa abu dhabi kasi 2 times ako kinuhaan ng dugo dun nung una sabi nawala tapos nitong pangalawa na kuha may hepa nako.. na curious ako bigla. sa monday may general check up ako sana naman po negative ang result... Hi everyone. I was very inspired ng nabasa ko ang mga testimony ninyo,. Actually same lang pala tayo ng nararamdaman sa buhay. Minsan andun na yung time na magtatanong ka sa diyos kung bakit ito nangyayari sa buhay ko.??? kung bakit ako pa? ..bakit, bakit, bakit???? Meron ba akong malaking pagkakasala kung bakit ako pa?  

October 2005 ng ma-diagnosed ako na infected  ako ng HVB, I was very shocked ng malaman ko, I didn't expect na meron ako,  that time pinagbubuntis ko ang anak ko 8 months na siya sa tiyan ko. Walang gabi na hindi ako umiiyak ng malaman kong I was infected. REquired kasi na magpatest.. So yun na nga ang lumabas na result.. Infected nga ako..

Halos gumuho ang mundo ko ng malaman ko itong sakit ko,  Halos wala na nga akong mailuha, pero sige pa rin. Sobrang lungkot ko ng mga time na iyon..Pero ma swerte ako sa husband ko na lagi siyang nandiyan para sa akin. Gusto ko pa naman na mag-breastfeed, pero hindi daw pwede.

When i gave birth, November 2005, agad ko siya pina-check if she's infected too, Salamat sa diyos at wala naman siya at pati ang husband ko ay non reactive din. God is really good.. That time nabuhayan ako ng loob.

Year 2006 of January ng makaalis ang husband ko papuntang KOREA..Sabi ko nga mabait pa rin ang diyos dahil di niya kami pinapabayaan..

Sabi ko nga sa sarili ko na tanggap ko na kung ano man ang binigay ni God sa akin. "  Di baleng ako na lang huwag lang sila.,"

Ang sabi nung ob-gyne ko before na magpacheck-up daw ako sa mga specialists about sa sakit ko,, pero hindi pa ako nakakapagpa-check up until now, salamat naman at wala akong nararamdaman sa katawan ko na kahit anong sakit,

Actually,  I didn't seek any doctor yet within 6 years, Im 26 years old now,  Basta healthy life style lang.,Eat proper foods, healthy foods, no cigarette, no alcohol intake, more veggies, more water, good sleep..iwas sa matatabang pagkain..


Next month, I was planning na magpa-check-up na ako, Sana lang meron milagro na mangyari na ikakagulat ko..." I do believe in miracles.."

Last 2009, Nag-apply kami ng family sa abroad ,tapos nalaman ko carrier pala ako.Bagsak ang morale ko ayaw ko ng sumama but my wife insist na ilaban namin kasi siya mismo  hindi nahawa. Then the doctor from Makati med issued a letter to the immigration medical panel and we passed. Sabi ng kausap ko doctor, Ignorant lang daw kasi marami dito sa Pinas.Nung nasa abroad na ako , walang employer na nagtatanong regarding age, religion or health. Dami ko ngang naging work dun-wala namang problema. Dito sa lang sa Pinas-backward isip ng maraming tao. Pero may mga company po dito na hindi nagdidiscriminate against health. Huwag pong mawalan ng pag-asa. Laban lang po.

nakakalungkot kasi marami pa din ang hindi well educated about sa hepa b. hindi cya nakakahawa sa casual contacts lng. instead sa blood at sa body fluids cya nakukuha. nakakalungkot kc nakuha na ako sa job n matagal ko ng hinihintay pero nalaman ko na HBsAG reative ako dahil sa med requirment nila na hepa test, nireject nila ako. nakiusap ako na kung pwede ako magset ng appointment sa HR Manager para makibargain and inform na rin cya sa Dept Advisory No. 05 ng DOLE. pero sabi tawagn daw ako within this week. still waiting for their call. i hope they mean their word to call me back and discuss about my situation. i just hope na maging open minded sila and be well informed about hep B.

Department Advisory No. 05 of DOLE series of 2010. Guidelines on Workplace Policy on Hepatitis B. It specifically states the following:

1.      There shall be no discrimination of any form against workers on the basis of their Hepatitis B status consistent with international agreements on non-discrimination ratified by the Philippines (ILO C111).  They shall not be discriminated against, from pre- to post-employment, including hiring, promotion, or assignment;

2.      They shall not be declared unfit to work without appropriate medical evaluation and counseling;

Na diagnose ako ng hepa b (acute) nung last Feb 2012. Hindi ako tinanggap sa work ko dahil positive ako. Sabi ng family doctor ko kng hnd naman daw ako hahawak ng mga food or mag serve ng food sa company matatanggap ako pero hindi pa rin ako tinanggap. Binigyan ako ng doctor ko ng meds Zeffix and Essentiale.

Zeffix 100mg 1 x a day ( Gamot rin to sa HIV pero 250mg dapat. 180PHP per tablet with senior ID))
Essentiale 2x a day (Liver vitamins 25PHP per capsule)

Liver ko is 44+ ang score nya yng nag pa check up ako.

May sinabi sa akin ang papa ng gf ko sa may bandang cubao daw may gamot na bibili sa may taas ng BDO along edsa sa taas daw nun pascual laboratories. Hindi nakakataka na maraming hepa cases sa Pilipinas. Sabi nga sa gmanews.tv eh 13 million pinoy na ang may hepa as of 2005. I was torn between telling my family especially my tita who's the one supporting me in school or just to continue on my course. Then I just decided to pursue it. I graduated 2008 and I was able to passed the board exam Nov 2008. Its really hard at ang dame ko questions why me? Eversince I was a kid dream ko na talga ang mag aborad. Now Im working in a call center, ok nman ang sahod. And Ive found a guy who accepted me. We've been married for 2 years na and waiting to have a child.
