gonorrhea cure

Hi doctors...i would just like to ask. I had the iv yesterday as i have been diagnosed with gonorrhea...And  my doctor also gave me doxylin 100gm for 2 weeks. How long will the meds work? I am feeling pain in my pelvic as well. Does this mean  i have pid? But i am feeling way more better now than those couple of days before i had the iv. And sorry for my english i'm from Ph. Hoping to get answers soon. Thank you.
