All alinia users on this community kindly tell us about your date of starting it, dose, initial labs, ongoing labs

I came to know about my HBV on screening in 2005 labs were as under
HBsAG positive HBeAg Negative HBe Ab positive ALT and other liver tests ok

Remained well repeated my labs in 2012 may and were

HBsAg Positive ,  HBs Ab Negative , HBc Ab Positive , HBeAg Negative ,  HBe Ab Positive , LFTs Normal and
PCR for HBV DNA ( Quantitative ) Negative

Then USG normal
HBsAg Quantitative 19 IU/ml  may 2012

then in OCT 2012 it was 13.4

and now its 16

I have started
-Nitazoxanide 2 gm daily in divided doses
-Vit D
-Simvastatin 10 mg

Will repeat labs in 3 months and will let you know

all others on alinia may also kindly share their experience

Ok ali, i am in uk. Not easy to get drugs here. You are lucky with such low hbsag. Good luck with your experiment

are you saying you are on alinia?
i ask my doctor about it and he told me some people use it for HepC without good success and never heard of anyone using it for HepB.
