ALT and immunology

by Yusheng bao, Aug 15, 2000 12:00AM
I suffered Hepatitis B 7 years. It activated three time, last almost one year. Since the begining of 1994 to  one month ago, I felt tired and pain sometimes, but ALT and AST are normal.2 year ago HBV DAN is negative. One month ago I felt tired again. I did not pay too much attention and travel from Boston to Seattle. I was really sick there. I came back to Boston to have my blood check on july 31st. ALT is 45, AST is in normal range. HASAg +, HBV DAN -, my doctor can not give clear explantation about this and can not give me instruction how to deal with this situation. The echo on July 31 show liver moderatively enlarged.

Does this situation serious? need any treatment?

Thanks a lot.
