antihbc is reactive for any person in contact with hbv, you never had hbv
Hi, anti-hbc total is reactive in all people who have been infected with hbv, no matter whether they get cured or not. Since in your case it is non-reactive, it means you've not been infected with hbv.
But for your peace of your mind, you may take an hbsag test just to feel better. You may also take anti-hbs test; if you do not have protective amount of anti-hbv, it is wise to get vaccinated against hbv.
