Boy, I work all day Saturday and Friday topics are all about children with HBV.

The topics about children are relevant if you were infected in childhood.  I think others have found that lecture to be very informative.  I wanted to go but couldnt' find someone to stay with the kids.

Dear zellyf, you are absolutely right, only,

1.  Today most babies are vaccinated at birth;

2.  if they fell through the crack, their parents, when in need of help, usually go to the docs, we usually are unable to help;

3.  statistically, the majority of questions posted in our forum relate to adults dealing with  HBV;

4.  the info will be available after the conference on the net.

cajim, I meant that the speakers on childhood issues will probably address the progression of HBV acquired in childhood which includes many of us.  So, it helps get a better understanding of what happens in chronic HBV that you get as a child as opposed to the course if you get it as an adult and are one of the rare ones who become chronic.

They won't just talk about having hep B in childhood but what parents can expect as their children become adults etc...like us.
