that is nothing scientific but just a drug makers scum page....yes we all do need vitamins and minerals extracted from food unless we can eat fresh food from our area
an italian research on a tv program checked nutrients of fruits, fresh fruits at the supermarket, and even checked the vitamins and antioxidants loss from the 1 hour trip from supermarket to home, well tht fruit had almost no vitamins and many antivitammis which develops after the fruit is cut from the tree, and he suggested vitamins to all
the only way to have normal food reach of nutrients is eat organic, not refined food, very fresh foods and fruits directly from the tree.
also the taste is very different, actually fruits directly from the tree are very tasty, those from supermarket are totally tastless
