Can Hbeag negative suddenly become positive ?
Hello,is there any chance for a Hbeag negative patient(say for instance, it was tested long time ago) to become Hbeag positive if his HBV DNA level suddenly flares up?

Yes, I have re-seroconverted twice within two years. I asked a few doctors and they don't really have any specific answers for why is this happening.

what was the antibody titer at that time after seroconversion.

if you have the bcp and precore mutants hbeag negative will stay forever while if you still have wildtype it can switch when immune system collapse

you are like you know you dont have the mutations yet and it is best you treat before the mutation happen which is the most cases of hbeag neg
