My results were - surface antigen and core antibody negative (no infection past or present) and surface antibody reactive (responded to vaccine).
How can I tell if I need a booster vaccine shot or if the surface antibodies are present does that mean no further vaccine required?

Hi, you can first get the anti Hbs levels checked to know your immunity status. Based on this you can opt for vaccination. And you will need to keep monitoring the viral loads as well. ”HBV DNA levels can fluctuate. Annual or semi-annual HBV DNA tests capture only a snapshot of your viral load at the time the test is taken. While researchers know high viral loads are not healthy, especially in adults, they don’t know the specific HBV DNA level or threshold that indicate liver damage. So, you will need to get your liver function tests also done at intervals. Please discuss this with your doctor am sure he will provide further assistance. Regards.
