Chronic Antibody "Borerline" - Should one be concerned?
My Anti-HBs Hepatitis B Antibody has been "borderline" for over a year now, even after additional vaccination (booster shots I suppose).  Should I be concerned?

I heard the Hep B virus can mutate, is it true?  While my Antigen (HBs Ag) has been negative, I have some Hepatitis symptoms which is a cause of concern.

My doctor just tells me to come back and vaccinate some more, is that the right approach?  Please advise thanks!!!

The anti-body report doesn't provide a specific number...  I suppose it's below 11 or 12...

Apparently I was probably infected at birth, and we didn't have the prevention shot until the late 70's...

I had another test around March, this time the Hep B Antibody finally showed up.  My doctor tells me fatigue might have something to do with it, and she is relieved.  (so am I !)

She gave me another booster shoot just in case.  We will see when the next checkup comes.
