Chronic Hepatitis B carrier total recovery
Hi, i'm new to this forum. Let me introduced myself briefly.
I was a chronic carrier for more than 20 years and now im totally recover with hbsag negative. Hbvdna virus gone. But sgot, sgpt, alt still a bit higher than normal since I got a fatty liver. I was having treatment since 2000 with interferon. Then moved to baraclude 0.5 to finally 1 mg and stop in 2008 when I married. When I stop my liver function test was good and hbvdna bring down to low level. Hbsag still positive as the doctor said it's almost impossible for chronic carrier to recover and I need to take baraclude for the rest of my life. The aim of medication is only to slow down the virus and make it inactive. But the virus will still be there for the rest of my life
My doctor suggest me to stop baraclude because it's risky planning to have kids while consuming baraclude as he afraid that might affect the sperm quality and would have affecting the baby condition. I did a routine check up as suggested by the doctor and my hbvdna went up drastically in a year time. Sgot, sgpt, alt was freaking high as they hit 3 figures like 1000s...I was stress but since I still wanted to have 2 kids so I dun take any medication and just leave it like that. In my next check up, my liver function test drop to hundreds.. and I think its good.. I still didnt feel anything.. usg shows my liver still good. After that I just live normally and having 2 kids already till 2012.

As expected, I was doing bad my liver function test was terrible and extremely high with the sgot, sgpt, alt hitting 2000s and I was having a jaundice with billirubin way higher above the normal level. Everything was high. Then, I was hospitalized for a week. Doctor started to give me baracclude .5 and tenovofir 300mg at the same time and few more medicines which I forgotten. Sorry for my bad memory. To cut it short, I did a routine check up every half a year with treatment of barraclude and tenofovir. Additionally, my mom prepared me "Temulawak" (Our local natural herbs- please do google for more information) to drink everyday since I was sick. 1.5 year of treatment finally my virus level was bring down to undetected. Sgot, sgpt, alt almost normal. Hbsag still there. In September 2014, I stopped barraclude as doctor suggested and I have to continue and never stop tenovofir for the rest of my life to keep the virus "sleeping". Yesterday, I went to lab and did a check up. To my surprise my hbsag negative. I will see my doctor soon. I have mix feelings. I felt so happy and also a bot doubtful whether I really fully recover from hep B. As the doctor keep saying chronic carrier could never ever recover frpm the virus. I just wanna asked any of u guys with chronic hep b carrier of more than 20 years and recover. My mom said probably the "temulawak" which I have been drinking twice a day help in getting rid of the virus. Until now I still taking tenovofir. I will be seeing my doctor soon as he used to say i can stop my tenofovir if the hbsag negative which is impossible.

so like vit d3 and other natural compounds they all help boost the treatment but you need to have the immune response started already by itself and a basic treatment then you can amplify.
the only cure we have 100% proven is sequential pegintf add on since hbsag goes down for almost all in 10-15 years time and when low enough peg will clear

i took curcuma in fibroguard which has a high absorption rate compared to simple curcuma in cooking by heptoshield but no effect on hbsag, there are even studies but it is not so potent as an antiviral while it is extremely potent as liposomal as antinflammatory/antifibrotic and anticancer
but again we have even liposomal curcumin since about 6 months from maxhealthlabs which deliver almost all curcumin to blood flow/cells but the only thing shown is a very potent anticancer effect (i did not read those studies carefully because not interested but the anti cancer may be more potent than chemio)

Hi, i'm here just to share. It's entirely up to you to choose to believe my post or not. I just think its a good thing to share good information to all the infected people out there.
Please read carefully. In my post above I'm not saying that I was only taking curcuma itself. I said I have had been treated intensively since november 2012 with both baraclude 0.5 and tenovofir 300mg when my condition was at worst with jaundice with the help of curcuma by my mom. And my mom said prob the curcuma help getting rid of the virus.
Anyway, im just trying to share what i have had to make me clear hbsag, hbeag and bring down my hbvdna to undetected level. I just hope everybody infected can get rid of the virus too.

I personally think you need to see a specialist doctor too. Dont just simply relying on those traditional herbs.

etv also doesn t work in some fatty liver cases, with some hbsag natural mutations (i posted very long time ago about this italian cases) and with those who have weak immune system.it didn t work for me too
no those who are lam resistant is over 50% resistance and tdf cannot rescue all cases of etv resistance
7% was registered in a study of naive patients in turkey if i remember correctly, i think i saw it at aasld 2014 posted here or in chinese forum

baraclude resistance is onnly 1% on patient never use antivirals before and 2 to 7%on those used lamiv
Hi brother.. for the first time let me ask you... are you from indonesia ? As i know your eord temulawak is mean of curcuma in indonesia and also mother turmeric is ibu jahe... i always read that curcuma or temulawak is a role play that cure all hepatitis acute desease but not research to much in curing chronic hepatitis like hbv. So to answer my question here, sory if i dont believe in your story, could you please scan all your lab report from tears of 2000 until now after you say that your hbsag is negatif, so i can see that your story is real and true. I just wanna ask you not to bring a dream story. Your story will give a new dream to all 350 milion people that suffer from chronic hbv that the cure drugs is already shown by god here. I have a chronic hbv and now only treat by curcuma plus turmeric that i cook by my self and also drink 3 capsule of white single ginger plus black seed in the night... i hope i can cure totally... i believe in good as i get hbv chronic because of kids vaccine..
all your tests are useless to see if you are clearing or going to clear and if you can safely stop etv, hbsag quan in iu/ml is the most important test to tell you this

you haven t read much of the forum and your doctor is very ignorant.both 1-2 decades of tenofofvir oe sequential pegintf add on cure hbv in 91% carriers
For curcumin, I use it both;
1. within the meals (like you do)
2. eating it separately by using a tea spoon at night before sleep

Plus, write "curcumin and cirrhosis" on Google. It is important for you since your fibrosis is high.
I do not think it is because of Baraclude. Yes, it is effective but not the only factor.

as isee baraclude is better than tonifovir ,there is a little chance to clear hbsag,no?

Believe in me it is obvious that a diet (like mine; anti-viral and anti-inflammatory) and the support of the treatment will cure EVERY HBV patient.
And it is obvious that curcumin and black seed are the best supplements like in this case and my case.

Very happy you could clear hbsag from your serum but being realistic it has nothing to do with taking curcumin. Also being realistic there is no such thing as complete cure from chronic HBV.

Wow congratulations, I'm been a chronic hep B for 7 years and your outcome is so encouraging. Very nice.
It's so pleasing to know there are people recovering from chronic hep B too. I just thought I want to share the good things about this temulawak. You have a really healthy diet and life. I admire your determination in life. I basically eat everything. I love to eat and not active in sports. No exercise to be exact. Less healthy lifestyle though as I cant resist good food... Since 2012, when i was at my worst condition. I change my lifestyle. I half my eating portion. consume less red meat, fried and oily food as my doctor suggested.. I always have my dinner before 6.30pm or the latest is on 7 pm.. only during weekend, I indulge myself.. late dinner like 8pm.. eat everything...I still lack of exercise.. plan to be more active in future.. I hope everybody can recover from this too... I decided to write coz im happy and want to share what i have had to get rid of the virus... no harm to try... who knows you guys can recover too...My mum bought the temulawak from the local store. Dry it and steam it with water without mixing with anything. It doesnt taste good but I still can tolerate.. gradually, I get used to it. I drink the temulawak like drinking tea twice a day for almost 2 years...please do google for temulawak coz i dunno how to explain in detail...
