Cirrhosis

by cas, Sep 19, 2000 12:00AM
Starting from an initially cirrhosed liver due to Hepatitis, what factors distinguish people who develop hepatoma, as compared to more advanced cirrhosis?  Is it age?, Is it the viral strain?, Is it the genetic make-up of the individuals?  Can hepatoma cause jaundice and ascitis etc. in a cirrhosed liver?
