Confuse with acute and chronic period.

Hi, i am worrying as i having acute or Chronic. i'm over 30 yrs old. Last year i went for body check up, the result was show normal and healthy. This year July i had an experience an oral sex. Until this September i developed hep b symptom like Jaundice, etc. And After diagnosed with blood tests in Oct, it shows Hep b positive,
HBV Quantitative PCR - 5.8 copiles/ml,
SGPT - 57.0.
Hbe AG- negative.
Hbe Anti- Positive
My doctor told me that i have chronic hep b. But he said my virus is very mild.. He ask me check again in next year Feb without given any medicine. Now is December 12th and i usually feel discomfortable on my right side upper of the abdomen.
My question is, now is almost 6 months, but i still feel discomfort on my abdomen. Am i chronic?? Is my Doctor right??

Thanks for the comment. Ya, i just felt supprise when my doctor told me that i'm chronic when i know that i got infected this year of July. That is still within the 6 months periods after i infected.  I rememeber i went for full body check up last year, everything is fine. Until this Oct when i went for full body check up included HIV, Hep C, only knows that i infected Hep B.
All this time i'm using condom, i thought i'm safe. But i dont know that oral sex without using comdom it can be transmitted.  But now is too late, i just wish that it is acute period and i still got the chance to clear the virus. God bless..

cronic if hbcab igm is negative since igm antibodies dont last more than 6 months

My doctor told me that i have chronic hep b. But he said my virus is very mild...
i doctor that talks like taht is from the era 2000-2005, he might know about nothing on cronic hbv, the virus is almost never high replication on cronic hbv carriers from long time and the damage is usually a lo on these
you need hbsag quantification to confirm inactive or active carrier, these tests available only in rich contries europe/asia and very difficult to find in US, canada, UK.if hbsag is low and decreasing you are clearing infected liver cells

without given any medicine
there are no drugs effective on virus, they stop liver damage but can increase the infected cells at the same time, if you take them and are acute you might never clear hbv

if hbcab igm is negative you are cronic from a long time, much long before this year, maybe you got another infection on top of hbv, and of course if hbsag is still detactable you are cronic.the only way to know the phase of infection is hbsag/hbvdna quantity
