Confusing Test Results?

Confusing Test Results?

Hello.  I was diagnosed with Hep. B a couple months ago.  I am really confused about this disease.  My tests came back...
HBsAG +
HBeAG -
HBcAG -
Liver enzymes= Normal

I had a baby two years ago and I tested negative for HBsAg, and I have never been in the "high risk group"  My husband and daughter have both recieved the scheduled vacinations through the military over a year ago....  I am concerned about my diagnosis, do these test results mean that I have gotten the virus and it has become chronic?  My doctor told me that they won't know if I am chronic, until they test agian in a few months.  The reason that I was tested for Hepatitis B, is because I am pregnant.  The doctor has put in orders to give the baby the vacination and the extra shot at birth, so I am also very worried about the baby.  We had an ultrasound done and the doctor told us that the baby was developing fine and didn't show any signs of liver damage.

I would be greatful for any advise about my baby and my test results.

Thank you!
