Thanks, Guys.  It was a good night to be from Detroit.  We don't always have a lot of them so we take what we can get.

That last shot was after the buzzer anyway, it wouldn't have counted but, dang, nothing like taking it down to the wire again.  

Too bad they had to win it on the road.  I was pretty disgusted with the Pittsburgh crowd booing during the awards ceremony.  I don't think that's typical.  I don't expect them to be happy about it but the booing lacked class.  Imagine, Pittsburgh not having class.  Who knew?

Congratulations to Zelly and the rest of the Red Wing Nation. So close to another OT there at the end, but the Red Wings deserve the win.

BTW Zelly….I noticed you missed recording the last part of game 5 due to triple OT. This reminds me of what happened to my wife:  She is a huge American Idol and Dancing with the Stars fanatic. A couple of years ago, we TIVO the American Idol Finale and they ran 20 minutes over and she missed them announcing the winner.  She was not a happy camper. You sit through the whole thing then towards the end you start thinking “I hope we got all this recorded”

She learned her lesson, but I can see where anyone would have thought that 90 extra minutes of record time would be enough. Oh well… At least you get bragging rights for another year.
