DAIRY PRODUCTS, CALCIUM AND RISK OF HEPATOCELLULAR CARCINOMA

*Conclusions: *Results from this large cohort study with collection of
data and biological samples prior to diagnosis suggest that higher
consumption of total dairy foods and calcium from dairy sources are
associated with increased HCC risk, further emphasizing a role for diet
in HCC etiology. Higher circulating IGF-I level due to more dairy food
intake may be a possible biologic explanation for these observations,
but requires further study.

i guess yogurt is ok, little quantity needed so not so much calcium and probiotics effect on immune system might balance....

I have had a huge craving for yogurt lately. I tend to go with my cravings, feel I may be deficient in some way, also get on goat cheese kicks. Hopefully my coffee drinking will negate the fallout.

the full article also says milk contains vitamin d: the vitamin d content in milk is absolutely ridiculous, i d say none compared to 20.000iu of a summer day and usually added and not naturally present in significant amounts

the main problem is probably too much calcium intake from dairy and probably all the trash in animal food and the drugs given to the animals in overcrowded farms
