Differencial Diagnosis of hepatitis B between chronic and acute

A young man have HBsAg positive,HBeAg positive and a viral load 95521841 IU/mL,
●Abdominal ultra sound revealed normal liver ,
●liver functions test result as fellowing :
Total bilirubin  (0.6mg/dl)
Direct bilirubin  (0.2mg/dl)
Alt (225U/L) high
AST  (122U/L) high
ALP (100U/L)
SERUM TOTAL protein  (7.6g/dl)
Serum albumin (4.7g/dl)
# he has been treated with rantidin 300mg before dinner dialy and cellulose syrup 15ml after dinner one time dialy
# after 3 weeks LFT revealed a normal liver Enzymes
AST (43U/L)
ALP  (79U/L)
ALT (51 U/L)
IS THIS A CHRONIC OR ACUTE HEPATITIS B?
HOW TO DIFFERENTIATE?

You have to repeat again viral load hbsag test after 3then 6 month after first exams and dont forget igg and igm tests wich give you an idea if you have a cut or chronic hbv.good luck

If his HBsAg tested positive for more than 6 months, then he has chronic Hepatitis B.
