europe has thouzands of patients from 2004 nd fibroscan is routinely used instead of biopsy so it is better to look at studies well done and with expert researchers and a lot of patients, it is the number of patients on these type of studies to make the difference

since biopsy is just observational and not correlated with liver function and can result in many errors, it is not used anymore in europe except for particular cases to measure cccdna or steatosis/nash/fatty liver
