Fibroscan

What is the threshold for F0, F1, F2, F3, F4 for the Fibroscan?

Today I received a 5.4 kPa (from 5.1 kPa 6 months ago). From the normal range my clinic using, anything that below 5.0 is considered normal. So, it does frightened me a bit when I got the result back.

The doctor said that sometimes the food that you eat (oily, fatty,...) does contribute to the stiffness of your liver. Is this correct?

At what reading (kPa) should I start to worry?

Brief intro: LAM resistance, on Truvada for 3 years, normal ultrasound; normal AST, ALT, AFP; undetectable HBV DNA.

anything less than 6kpa is ok, truvada itself can be little toxic, you may try antioxidants and better healthy fresh diet and see if it goes down

remember to be fast when you go for fibroscan, also ast/alt can influence readings a little but alt<30 give good results anyway
