From acute to cronic carrier - 12 months infection
Hello. Please I will need your help. I had another name and made another questions but I forgot password and dont receive anything from MedHelp in my mail box. Sorry for the english.
Infection data; I never had ALT elevated. I went through difficult time with pain and tiredness during firsts months infection.
October 2011: adn pcr 3500 unites/ml, Anti-HBC IGM POSITIVE, NO ALT elevated everything normal.
( month of initial infection = september )
January 2012 : adn pcr 600 unites/ml
May 2012 : adn pcr 1500 unites/ml
ougust 2012 : adn pcr 1200 unites/ml
I feel I have not much energy at this moment. My eyes hurts me and digestion is a bit difficult.
I know we need HBSag quatity and HBEag data but that will be done in febrery. The doctor has told me i am cronic carrier now and that my inmune system has not been able to get rid of virus. PLease I am worried about my inmune system. How can I know my inmune system is fine?. I dont take drung, alcohol nither smoke.
DO u recomend Interferon with normal alt or better to wait new tretements. Maybe I have possibility to go to cuba and try NASVAC my family lives there. What's your advice please. Kind regards.

Well steff, Cuba has under control hbv more or less. U have to consider that Cuba has Haiti waves inmigration that arrive into the island every day. They bring many virus with them. And from another places as well. But what is very important is that Cuba's strongest industry is scientific research.
As matter of fact Cuba sells in the USA several therapeutics vaccines for cancer. I really beleive that Cuba makes big business passing on scientific innovatiions to other countries like China and even France. NASVAC is one of them in my opinion but they will sell the findings and other countris will develope with another name. For instance TRansgene is developing TG1050 and I beleive that's NASVAC principle.......

dont believe it they showed no data and cuba has zero hbv, they have one of the best healthcare in the world being all vaccinated since a very long time...probably some very old infected person is present but there aren t enough infected to make a market there

ok steff that might be interesting to know..... anyway my doctor does not understand the difference betwen ADN and HBS quantity. He thinks is the same thing.

yes infact new studies said it is not possible to say it has become chronic just because hbsag is pos after 6 months since many clear even after 12 months
to understand if chronic or clearing both hbcab igm quantity and hbsag quantity, at least 3 tests monthly, will clear what the pattern is and if you are slowly clearing.
dont look at hbvdna or ast/alt because they cannot predict hbv clearance whatever the values

ok THat woulf mean that i am still on acute.... but..... it is possible that??? it is possible to have acute for more than 12 months?? well I will go and check that up.cheers.
Guys,may natutunan akong bago sa seminar namin..doktor ang speaker namin..naniniwala ba kayo sa food supplement??me,naniniwala talaga ako kasi marami na ang pinagaling nito,,,yong puno ng saging ung katawan ng saging..pigain nyo lang tapos,tapos ung pinigaan nyo,inumin nyo tapos patakan ng fulvic minerals,b-complex,honey,at magnesium ascorbate..ginawa namin kanina tapos uminom kami..good for hepatits ito,,,tapos d pa ako nakuntinto..tinanong ko talga tungkol sa sampaluk-sampalukan...sabi ng doktor namin..oo daw,good for hepatits b un...kaya,subukan nyo guys..ala nmang mawawala sa atin..dahil ito din ang gagawin ko sa sarili ko...
by the way Fibroscan was 4.5 so liver is not bad. AND yes hbcab igm was positive in febrery 2012 but now I don't know.

Well steff, the only explanation that I found is that as the infection was very small it has not even made ALT changing. So, no ALT elevated, no clearence of virus. Maybe with the time.............
immune system gets damaged during our life many times, this is due to drugs, chemicals or just because we eat processed foods, then it recovers
hbcab igm is the only thing that can confirm acute, how was hbcab igm?
there are no drugs active on the virus so if you have no liver damage by fibroscan there is no reason to rush in to treatments that requires 5-10years to lower hbsag
check your hbcab igm quantity, this is the first test a doctor who knows hbv orders, then fibroscan and then hbsag quantity, after this tests we know the status and if drugs are needed
Hi steff, it was acute and you r scaring me. I check every year everything and this time hepa b was = +. I Had an acute state with every symptoms and I know the infection reason. Also my antiHBS igm was positive.
But I dont agree with you, if my inmune system was severely damaged I would have millions of ADN copies and elevated ALT, isn't it?? for the rest of your questions I don't understand what u mean by immune status or how to teste it and NO I dont take any drugs !!!

acute hbv has alt to thousands, it was not acute but chronic from birth as all of chronic hbv cases most probably
how do you know it was acute?which tests you did to check if it was acute?
what is your immune status?are you taking immune system damaging drugs?if it was acute your immune system is severely damaged
