Firstly as NashPred pointed you to our HepB Intro Welcome Page...Read it to learn the basics.  Once you have a basic understanding, gather your labs and ask your doctor questions since your doctor is treating you.  Then you could ask for specifics here.   From what you wrote, we just know you probably have HepB.  That's it.

When you don't know the basic and ask such a vague question, it's really hard to answer.  It's like trying to explain complexities of Devising Mechanisms from Rate Laws and the Michaelis-Menten Equation to someone who never took basic chemistry.

Although we are a small community, there are now lots of information on threads on our archives that you could read and learn from.

Again, start learning here:

We hope you stick around.

It is very rare for someone to test positive for both HBsAg and HBsAb at the same time, but it does happen. We have another member of this forum with the same results.

Do you have any other lab results such as “e” antigen or “e” antibody?

It is possible to get rid of HBV, but not very likely once it becomes chronic. If you have remained positive for HBsAg for longer than 6 months, then you are considered to have chronic HBV.

The good news is that your HBV DNA is undetectable. You doctor may keep you on Baraclude and then slowly take you off of it to see if your immune system can control the virus on its own without anymore help from anti-viral medication.

Maybe some others here will have more info/ideas about your condition.
