HBV Carrier but now totally cured.

Hi All,
1) Is it possible for someone who diagnosed HBV acute patient but now totally cured? Based on the latest blood test result ~ HBsAg : Non-Reactive and Anti-HBs : 47mIU/mL
2) He was advised to take a dose of HBV vaccine as booster ~ Would this help to boost his antibody level?
3) He would try for another blood test, perhaps in Jan/Feb 2017 ~ Do you think that the result remain OK or suddenly come back as HBV Carrier as before?

adults with acute hbv always clear hbv by their immune system.chronic is only at birth or on about 3% adults with damaged immune systems when they get infected

The figure is 5-10%, and there is no study isolating the reason why these persons do not clear the virus.
Hi stef2011,
You are saying that all newly infected of hbv will have a chance for being fully recovered? Let say within 6 months? If yes, with a treatment or without?
Thanks in advance....
without, there is no treatment for acute hepatitis

1) yes
2) probably no
3) yes, it should stay negative for life unless a person will take some immune suppressive therapy, anti-cancer drugs or will get hiv and than aids ... only serious decrease in immune system function may trigger it back
