HBV DNA
Has the technology really improved that much? I was told that recent HBV DNA test can detect up to single digit IU/mL, meaning you can be reported 2 IU/mL on your HBV DNA.

this test is now useless because the virus is not in the blood but inside infected liver cells.the test to see how you clear and cure is now hbsag quantitative in iu/ml

other tests like hbvdna are used to have complete picture but having hbvdna undetectable has nothing to do with clearance of infection and many carriers are hbvdna und already without any therapy
