HBV Vaccine and Immune Escape Mutants ? Vaccine works?

I was reading a interesting article dated back 2013 in China. Since they started doing vaccinations in 1992, they have seen hbv mutations escape the vaccine. Since so many chronic carriers are on NUCS and hbeag - and have mutations, will the vaccine cease to start working in the near future? For example if I carry a core promoter and precore mutation and I am in immune escape phase, will my sons vaccination work? Below is the article.
