Thank you very much Stephen.
Try this:
http://depts.washington.edu/hepstudy/hepB/clindx/serology/discussion.html
"The first serologic marker to appear is hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg), which can initially be detected in serum from 1 to 12 weeks (average, 30 to 60 days) after infection. "
Thank you Stephen.
Do you know where I can find related information about window period of HBV with modern testing?
Sorry, I don't know, but I would think you are most likely not infected.
My HBsAg Test is also negative at week 10 after exposure (unprotected oral sex).
Can I see it as I am 100% not infected?
Joint pain is not usually associated with Hepatitis B. HBV and HIV are two completely different virues and diseases.
Hi Stephen
Thanks a lot for your guidance . I would like to know more about the symptons of this virus. I am getting pain in joints and feeling weakness in body. And one more HBV is first stage of HIV
No need to test anymore. If you tested negative for HBsAg, then you are not infected.
You might have been infected in the past and fully recovered like most adults do, and your HBcAb may be positive. That may be why the blood bank ask to to check.
