A close friend was recently diagnosed as having Hep B. After a 2nd test the results have come back
HBeag cutoff marker 1.00, score 0.157 - non reactive
Anti HBeag cutoff marker 1.00, score 0.344 - Reactive
Can anyone help explain the scores and the terms "reactive and non reactive"
And is there anything that I should really be worried about and what can I do to help.
Is there a cure for Hep B. and can it recurr once cured? I appreciate any advice on this. it's giving me anxiety attacks to know someone that you care for is affected.Thank you all out there
only thes test cant say that u ve hep B postive. what abt HBsAg( that is hep B srface antigen) if this reactive means u ve hepB positive bt if u ve HBsAb also positive tht means u ve been cler it urself means no need to worry. u should fallow ur doctor.
