ok sir thank you for the advice
You have to do a blood test to measure your viral load (hbvdna) - talk to your doctor.
"HBsAg 5364.95., COV(0.899) 0.9-1.0 Gray Zone" - IF the HBsAg test result is above 0.899, it is above the COV(cut off value) and is considered to mean HBsAg positive(reactive). If the value is between 0.9 - 1.0, it is just slightly above the cut off value and may be wrong (gray zone) due to Lab error, in this case, it may be wise to repeat the test.
But your value is 5364.95, it is definitely above 1.0, and so the result is unequivocal.
I am sure your lab report would have stated that you are HBsAg positive. It maybe comforting to seek a second opinion, but here at the forum, we are not doctors, you must always see your own doctor if you have any questions.
thank you sir for your advice, is my viral load is very high? what is the meaning of this COV 0.899 and the 0.9-1.0 Gray zone?
There is no definite cure at the moment, not all patients require treatment but should be monitored regularly, and if you do need treatment, there are excellent drugs that can control the disease very successfully.
Yes, Hepatitis B can be transferred to your baby, so your baby must receive HBIG and the first dose of a 3-dose HBV vaccine immediately after birth. If your viral load is very high, you are at a higher risk of transmission, you should be treated with Tenofovir to further reduce the chance of transmission.
Do consult your doctors. Congratulations on your pregnancy.
