HBsAg +ve, HBeAg -ve

Hello sir
I was tested for HBsAg +ve 7 months ago. on advice of my doctor i got tested for HBeAg and anti HBeAb, ultrasound of liver, LFT.
HBeAg was -ve. anti HBeAb was +ve, ALT remained between 23 to 35 in last 7 months as i checked it after every 2 months. ultrasound declared liver size to be normal. But when i got tested for HBsAg now again after 7 months, it is still reactive or positive. What should i do now. can you please explain what is my situation with regard to Hepatitis B disease?
Can i communicate this disease to my wife who is alrady vaccinated against it??
What diet you suggest for me so that i can cure from HBsAg?
Thanks

you need to check your IgM anti-HBc to see if you are chronic or acute. If you can't remember how you got infected, you are most likely to be chronically infected. You need to test your HBV DNA viral load next. That (and your family history) might give you some indication about whether or not to begin treatment.

Test your wife for HBsAg and HBsAb, to find out if she has the disease, and if the vaccination has worked for her. If she does not have the disease, you need not have any concerns on that front.

No diet will help you cure HepB. Stay off alcohol.
