HEPATITIS B VIRUS CORE IGG - POSITIVE

My wife had a test results for HEPATITIS B CORE ANTIBODY as:
HEPATITIS B VIRUS CORE IGG - POSITIVE

The test result for HEPATITIS B SURFACE ANTIGEN was
HEP B SURFACE AG       -           NEGATIVE

What is the meaning? Is she protected for life? My personal test showed that I am HEP B s AG. My ALT and AST are within the normal range. Am I  in the acute or chronic state?

Your wife now does not have HBV, but what is her anti-HBs, not HBcAb?

You have HBV, what are your other test results?
