HIV Vaccine ? Post Exposure help!

Hi I recently had a high risk exposure with a street worker unknown status , I Have Never Been Vaccinated Before And After The Exposure I Went To The Clinic And They Gave My First Vaccine 10-12 hours After Exposure , I Was Wondering if it's to late to do this ? Can anyone help me

What about Hep B Virus ? Like Acute Hep B ? Even if she did have it and I got the vaccine 12 hours after that should protect me right ?

Don't worry, your chances of getting chronic hep b are now like 1 in 100.000

Also it has been 13 days since My Exposure And Iv Had My Second Vaccine . I'll have another one in 2 weeks time and one at 12 months ......Is this any good to protect me ? Thank u

Hi guys thanks for replying , I meant Hep B not HIV sorry , I Got My First Vaccine 11 hours after My Exposure ? Do You Think It Will Protect Me? I'm Going Insane :(

no vaccine for hiv. Go to ART centre immediately without wasting time and take prophylactic dose for 28 days continuosly to minimise risk to acquire hiv.
Vaccine for hbv doesnt works if u are already exposed to it.

vaccine for hbv has good chance to work for those that were just exposed to the hbv virus (as is his case)
