Has anyone read this about liver cancer, what are your thoughts?

Risk of liver cancer from hepatitis B persists even after clearing the virus.

It depends on the stage of sickness and Existence of cirrohses when you clean the virus.

Hi, in HCV patients, they get checked every 6 months to a year for liver cancer, if they had cirrhosis.  It has been shown that these people are at higher risk for up to 8 years.
If this is true then couldn't it be true for HBV with cirrhosis?
Cirrhosis is cirrhosis no matter how you got it.

or if cccdna still remained and was not eliminated from the system, only hbvdna & hbsag

Yeah, it's concerning. But i wonder if they lived a healthy lifestyle after assuming they were "cured".
