forgot to say both peginterferon and nitazoxanide are active on immune system and not directly on virus so there is no resistance development.
the best therapy is 4 weeks ntz mono and after ntz+peginterferon same as on hcv himan trials for 48 or 96 weeks after ntz can be continued indefinitely, if hbsag and hbvdna do not decrease by 12-24 weeks hbsag seroconversion is unlikely, if hbsag is higher than 1500iu/ml baseline hbsag serconversion is unlikely

peginterferon and nitazoxanide has the highest seroconversion rates, the first can reach from 11 to 30% serconversion at 5-10 years after therapy, the second is off label and in first human trials showed 25% serooncversion on hbe negative at one year, it has no sides so it can be continued indefinitely

do find a very expert and updated gastroenterologist, serooncversion is achieved if hbsag baseline is lower than 1500iu/ml and if there is hbsag and hbvdna decline in the first 12-24 weeks of therapy, the others can only lower replication or have no response at all on these drugs

Nucs antivirals have almost no seroconversion

The previous post should have been addressed to you. Don't know how I ended up addressing it to myself.

Which country are you in? You need to be assessed more thoroughly for Hep B. As far as I know, no one on this forum is a doctor. Do get in touch with a gastroenterologist.
I guess a doc would advice a few tests to begin with: HBsAg, HBeAg, HBeAb, DNA Viral load, LFT.

Very few with Hep B convert to HBsAg negative, with or without medicine. So few that this is not even considered a realistically achievable goal.
