Hbe Antibody - positive

Hello list members

Could you give me an opinion if I started interferon (6 months) with HbeAg - Negative
Anti-Hbe - Reactive as baseline. I read from this forum that seroconversion occurs Hbe positive to Hbe negative. Is there a possibility that HbeAg become positive during my treatment?

Regards to all.

what s the best to do to lower the SGPT ?

--There are Chinese herbs that lower SGPT, but they only do so temporarily to make patients happy and make doctors happy.  The long term way is by correct eating and life style.

how about the foods?

--See here.

--I think so.  USA does not discriminate against HBV.

What do u mean by HBe ANTIBODY?

--Your immune system is winning the battle against HBeAg.

i m confused do i need to lower or higher my antibody to make non reactive?

--The higher the better.

DO u think the result of my SGPT is worse?

--Hard to say.  I don't think so.

no it is not possible, but during interferon you have to measure hbsag quantity in iu/ml and hbvdna pcr to see if it is working or useless, there is a stopping rule at 12 weeks if there is no decrease of hbsag and atleast 1 log decrease of hbvdna

after you have finished interferon you must continue with tenofovir or entecavir according to latest research in order  to make hbsag negative, only in case there is a continuous hbsag decrease even after therapy is finished you can avoid tenofovir or entecavir.
if there is no hbsag decrease interferon is almost useless since on most hbvdna will be detectable again after a couple of years after stopping interferon
