Hbsag +, Hbcab -

I just got my results with a positive antigen and negative antibody - does this mean that I just recently came in contact with this disease?

Acute infection   HBsAg-positive; HBV DNA-positive (usually); IgM anti-HBc-positive; (anti-HBs-negative; HBeAg may be positive or negative, depending on timing)

Chronic infection HBsAg-positive; IgG anti-HBc-positive; anti-HBs-negative; HBV DNA-positive (usually)

I'm sorry but negative Igm anti hbc is usually an indication for chronic. Have you seen a doctor?
