Dear Friends, I got yesterday my results test. Cronically:
January 2013 Hbvdna 950 iu/ml or 5500 copies/ml,
July 2013 hbvdna 450 iu/ml or 2500 copies/ml,
january 2014 hbvdna 262 iu/ml or 1500 copies/ml.
In USA don't have hbvsag quantities only showing reactive,
Alpfa-Fetoprotein,-1.2 normal range is <6.1
albumin, alt, ast, calcium, ultasound everything else is normal range. Not did fibroscan
Steff, stefan, studyforhope, what do you think? should i wait,or should i begin with interferon? Doctor said we just need to keep monitoring every 6 month.
I would appreciate your opinion, thanks a lot for your helping people on this forum. Even though i don't write, because i am"ignorant" for hep b, i keep looking this forum every single day, like a meal.
hbvdna goes up and down, undetactable or in the billions, it is the natural course of chronic hbv....so from hbvdna only i think there is very little to say, i think you should send blood samples out of US for hbsag testing
genotype and fibroscan would help too for the choice nucs, peg or monitoring
Thank you Stef for reply, I forgot to say my genotype is D, in case i want to see my hbsag quantities do you know any address that accept it?i am gonna send it when i have to repeat my test. I am suprised with all the tech they have they can;t show it, Grazie ancora amico, Ti desidero vita lunga
