Hbv from birth, vaccination, symptoms

Hi people. I am a 24 years old male. One question that bother me. I found out i have hbv 12 years ago, when i was 12. Some doctors say or guess that i have hbv from birth since the first time (12 years ago) when i did lab tests my hbv dna was very high, and now also is around 100.000 iu.
I was reading that when people get hbv they feel the symptoms of being sick aproximately after 6 months. The question is next, supposingly i got hbv from birth why i felt being sick symptoms when i was 12.
Something else when i was  12 i got vaccinated against hbv, and after 1-2 months i was  hospitilized, felt very sick, jaundice and eventually lab tests found i have hbv. Can it be that i got that ilness symptoms from vaccination? Did vaccination recealed that i have hbv?

The vaccinations had been available since 1982 my mom never got me vaccinated I never knew I wasn't until I became infected my siblings before and after me has been vaccinated I just don't understand why she didn't love me enough to get vaccinated I just pray we can get over this

No, at that time there were not vaccination against hbv, so i received when i was 12.
