Hi! Thank you very much for your patience.

I thought hepatitis B virus can Not transmit outside body before. I thought it become inactive immediately once it expose to air, just same as HIV virus. I thought the transmission way of hepatitis B virus is exactly the same as the transmission way of HIV: Unprotected penetrative anal and/or vaginal sex, Sharing works with other IV drug users, Mother to child. So I thought I will never get hepatitis B if I do not take drugs or have protected sex.

But now I read the article said and you also said hepatitis B virus can transmit in the outside environment. Actually I doubt this. If it is correct, when a person has a wound contact the body fluid or blood carelessly in the outside environment, it is possible for the person get hepatitis B. I think this situation could happen frequently in this world, so many people in this world should have got hepatitis B in this way, such as a person fight with somebody who has hepatitis B, the person's wound contact somebody's body fluid or blood. A person who has haemorrhoids sit on the public toilet seat has body fluid contain hepatitis B on it. A person go to a barber shop, but wounded by the shaver or scissors with other customers'  body fluid contain hepatitis B virus on it. I think these situation could happen frequently everyday in this world.

Is there any case happened for people get hepatitis B from these situation?

I don't know how you manage to survive without observing all these precautions before! I would certainly avoid using the same toilet as you if you have herpes. Actually you remind me of an old Chinese story about a man who spent all day worrying that the sky may fall down on him.. It hasn't happen yet, but then who knows?

Hi! Thank you very much for your answer!

But actually these answers make me feel more upset.

If these answers are all correct. I should be very careful in the daily life, it would makes me too nervous on my every behavior for not getting HBV in the daily life.

If Hepatitis B virus can survive outside the body and is infectious at least 7 days.

I can not eat food when I have oral ulcer because of I'm afraid the food may have tiny blood contain Hepatitis B virus on it.

I can not use public toilet seat when I have haemorrhoids or herpes on my buttocks because of I'm afraid the wound contact the blood on the public toilet or the blood in the water.

I can not go to barber shops because of their shaver or scissors are used on may people.

I can not go outisde to touch anything if I have a wound.......

I feel very confused......

1 How long can hepatitis B virus live outside body? I read an article on internet said hepatitis B virus can live for 7 days at 37 degrees temperature? Is it ture? Or hepatitis B virus become dead immediately once it expose to air?
Yes, according to CDC: "Hepatitis B virus can survive outside the body at least 7 days. During that time, the virus can still cause infection if it enters the body of a person who is not infected." But remember, the skin is a wonderful barrier against all viruses and bacteria; it takes more than a single virion to lead to infection; and most important, over 95% of adults can successfully fight off an infection by HBV.

2. If I have a open wound contacted the blood contain hepatitis B virus on the floor. Am i at the risk of getting hepatitis B?
Yes, any blood to blood contact. So get immunized and practice universal precaution(i.e assume all blood/body fluid contain pathogens and never handle any blood/body fluid without protection.)

3. I have genital herpes(HSV2) on my perineum and buttocks, that means I have a open wound sometimes, will I get hepatitis B easily in the daily life?
No, but all open wounds should be covered. There are germs everywhere, some are airborne.

4. Is it risky for sitting on public toilet seat or sharing toothbrush or shaver?
Yes, definitely. Never share toothbrush, shaver, scissors and personal items, such as manicure set.

5. Oral sex and protected sex have the risk for getting hepatitis B?
All intimate personal contacts carry some risk of infection, not just HBV. Oral sex can give you oral cancer. Always practice safe sex.

Just my opinion.
