I was tested for both Hep B & C about 4 1/2 months after a sexual encounter. I had the the 3 Hep B & 1 Hep C tests.
My Hep C test ( Hep C Virus AB ) result was <0.1 Negative. My 3 Hep B test were. Hep B Surface AB result 0.27 Anti-HBs Level, and the following Status( Inconsistent with Immunity 0.00 - 0.99 ) Hep B Core Ab, Tot, negative. HBsAg Screen, negative. My Doctor clear me but I'm not sure. Help !!!
Based on your test results I feel that you are hepatitis B and hepatitis C negative. There is vaccine available for Hepatitis B which is given in three doses. The first and second dose offer complete protection. The final injection or third is to prolong protection against the hepatitis B virus. It is suggested to contact your doctor for more queries. I hope it helps.
Best wishes and regards!
