Hep B/C wndow period

Hi ,

I did a full hepatitis panel (A,B,C) at 5 weeks and then repeted at 16 weeks... All results came back negative.
My GP told me that negative results test at 16 weeks should be enough. Is this  information correct?

Thanks,

Thanks for your reply, I have another question if you do not mind.

I am not sure what exactly is a full panel or if i had a full panel done... I just know she tested me for HEP A,B, C. All negative at 16 weeks after exposure. She did mention that one of the test showed that I had not been exposed to Hep B in the past and since I tested negative for it, should  consider vaccinations for Hep B???

Your GP is right.  If you have any infection your full panel should show something.

Best.
