Hep B DNA result

Hi Guys,

I just had a HBV DNA test and my result is 6 IU/mL.

My doctor told me I might have the anti-bodies now as this test count is really great..

Any of you also had this experience??

It is a little odd your doctor ordered PCR test and not ant-body test (HBsAb).

You seem to have vey low viral load, which does not require treatment. However get tested for HBsAb next time. That confirms you are immune or not.

If you are not immune, you need to get AST/ALT checked every 6 months or year.

I don't but if you concern about Hep B, have your doctor order HBsAg to see if it negative.
