Hep B and Lamisil for Toe Nail Fungus - Should they mix!

I was wondering if anyone out there really has had a bad health experience with the combination of having Hep B for many years, although my Hep B has been dormant for the past 14 years and has not started to do anything to my liver as of today, and taking presciption strength Lamisil for toe nail fungus. My Dr. put me on the Lamisil for 12 weeks and says that after 6 weeks we will check my blood and liver to see if there is any change in my Hep B. I have heard nothing positive from anyone concerning this combo of Hep B and Lamisil and want to make sure that if there is a chance that I could die or become very ill due to the liver interaction with the medication, then is my Dr. a nut and not really understanding my particular condition. I really do want the toe nail fungus taken care of and be rid of it, but not at the expense of my life or making my Hep B active which then can lead to other health issues. What would you do? Thanks for your replys in advance!

All medication taken is detoxified by the liver therefore a prolonged intake of chemical materials always raises a concern for liver status.  Maybe get a second opinion.

I believe Lamisil is contraindicated for liver disease.  That means don't use it.
