Hep B cirable drug

Hi,

I am suffering from Chronic hepatitis B since 5 years. I dont have any simptoms and i got to know
about it only when I went to donate my blood last week.

I read in internet that Australian scientists have researched one cancer drug in 2014 and its in Clinical trial which cures HBV.

Please let me know how long it may take to come into the market after FDA approval?

Regards,
Ram

After the hepatitis C cure has come through and billions and billions of dollars it has made, companies are putting more research and funding into hep B. Hep B infections are estimated 400 million world wide. The race for cure is purely financial and we should be happy we have 400 million carriers. The drug companies look at each one of us as dollar signs. Have hope cure should be coming. When, who knows but it will be coming. A lot of advances have been made in the last 10 years.

Welcome to the community of hep b. today is world hepatitis day and only we can cherish or cry on it.
That drug is with held from further studies due to cerebral palsy as it's side effect. Wait for another 5 years if something else comes thereafter.
