Hepa B carrier
My yaya is positive on Hepa B. Her serology result is Reactive on HBs-Ag, Anti-Hbe, Anti-HBc G and Anti-Hbc M. She was given essentiale forte and zeppix as her medicines. My 2 kids, 3 & 1 yr old have already hepa B3 vaccine. I pity my yaya coz if I let her go, she has no way of buying her medicines so I intend to keep her. What could be the implications to my children and of course to other members of the house. For prevention, she uses face masks and she has own utensils. Is it ok if she stays in the house and take care of the kids? Is it ok if she carries my children. Please give me advise. Is hepa B very contagious that the person has it should be avoided or isolated?
hi gud day..meon dn ako hepa b.. last 2010 ko lang to nalaman nung nagpa medical ako dahil required sa ojt ko sa isang restaurant... nagulat ako nakita kong reactive ako... sobra nalungkot ako parng nawalan ng pag asa... kala ko iiwan ako ng gf ko kc kasama ko sya nng kumuha ako ng result... peo thankful ako kc nd nya ako iniwan at lalo pa nya ako minahal.. sana sama2 tayu mag hanap ng lunas at share agad d2 sa foru na 2.. bsta alwayz pray lang po.. alam ko nd tayu iiwan ni papa jesus.. sana me dumating na gamot para satin.. madami pa ako pangarap sa fam ko at sa gf ko.. hehe.. lage lang pray.. tc all.....;)
hbsag positive doesnt mean na iisolate nyo na cya..this is very misleading nowadays.. and getting informed is very important talga..Hindi cya mkkahawa thru sneezing or even sharing of utensils. the only way to transmit the hepadna B virus is blood to blood contact..even better is vaccinated naman mga kids mo..so dont worry. its zero risk

Hepatitis B can be transmitted through:Men or women who have multiple sex partners, especially if they don't use a condom
Men who have sex with men
Men or women who have sex with a person infected with hepatitis B virus
People with other sexually transmitted diseases
People who inject drugs with shared needles
People who receive transfusions of blood or blood products
People who undergo dialysis for kidney disease
Institutionalized mentally handicapped people and their attendants, caregivers, and family members
Health care workers who are stuck with needles or other sharp instruments contaminated with infected blood
Infants born to infected mothers
