Hepatitis

I have the hepatitis B, but I would like to make love with my girlfriend. What should I do, so it will not transfer over to her.

a friend of mine is having a story with a monk for more than 20 years by this time. I haven't asked for details, but I guess that if it's worth the trouble, then there must be some good sex there
:-)))

I recall reading that Hep B is much more easily transmitted via sexual contact than is Hep C.  Just a heads up in case you assume otherwise, as I did.  Hats off to you for doing the right thing for your girlfriend.  Good luck.

If she knows and she still wants to be with you she has to get vaccinated.

THANK YOU for your concern ANNA but I'm improving with time. Most of the Sx that I have suffered from during Tx & shortly thereafter have disappeared.....except for the depression (MDD). I'm full of hope that this will also be "CURED" by time.
How goes life with you Anna?
Hoping that all is well with you & your family....

Good luck to all,
Ben....aka Pluto-Kid

Hey Chev,

I love you.  Seems like everytime I get here I'm greeted by one of your......glorious comments.  Lucky me.  Only one question.  I wear all that gear for masturbation....should I add anything for interpersonal contact?

Best to all,
Steve

Good for you and I know that things will get better and better over the next few weeks.

Wish I could say the same.  This new tx does not really seem to be helping.  Interesting, I was visiting some of the earlier threads and came across one about Dr. Cecil.  I have an appointment to go see him in March.  Would like to see what he has to say and will let you know.

In the meantime, am waiting with great excitement for your news.

Best,
Steve

ps. across the room huh.......well.......like I always say, "whatever works"!!

I have to laugh.....   Having been on treatment on and off over the last 10 years, a total of 7 different treatments, my questions is:

What's sex???

The treatments have total destroyed my sex drive and I don't have the energy to have sex even if I wanted to.

Hi Susan,

I don't know why it is but men seem to have this view that no matter what happens, as long as I can still, at least, think about sex with enjoyment then nothing else matters.  You know, HCV....yeah, its bad.....but didn't (fill in your flavor) look great in that outfit last night.  Boy would I like to do her!

Don't know what this says about us......nothing good probably, some say it's because we think with the wrong head.....or don't think at all most likely.

How are you doing?  Any success?

Best to you and hope you are feeling at least ok,
Steve

hi ben,
good to hear your sx are gone. depression is a bad beast... I KNOW what I'm saying. but if you work on it i am sure you will get rid of it. are you seeking professional help (I mean, besides meds) ? I hope so. it takes a long time and money, but it's definitely worth it.

as for me, I quit steroids and I'm feeling better, no more vertigo, weight gain etc, except for tinnitus that's still bothering me. nothing in comparison to what I had before. I will have a control gastroscopy next month, but I am not worried about it. it's meant to monitor the risk of bleeding in the hesophagus that's typical of my disease, but I hope the risky stage is still far away.

waiting this cold winter to end. done good propositions for the new year: eating healthier (i.e. not letting veggies rot in the fridge all the time), gentle excercise, sleeping more regularly... uhmmm, what's left? ah! no lovers - maybe next year.     ;-)

today was memory day in europe, and also my old neighbour, mr. basevi's 81st birthday. he escaped shoah by hiding in barns on our mountains. many of his family weren't as fortunate as he. my chatters with this gentleman have given me a more direct insight of the catastrophy. I am honoured of his friendship.

go ahead your way and keep posting your news, ben. all my good thoughts for you.
