Before starting medicine consult one more doctor because Tenofovir will only control HVBDNA..this medicine might be take life time.

Hi..my cousin's been diagonised with chronic Hep B.I have taken her to Dr. Ashokananda Konar in Peerless. He prescribed Tenohep 300 (Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate- Zydus) for her and asked her to continue the medicine for life even if there is no improvement. He also asked her to do the DNA quantitative test every 6 months. She also needs to get a fibroscan done and report in 2 weeks. Is there really no treatment for chronic Hep B cases?

Thanks a lot dear. Your treatment is on right direction. In india most of the  doctor make fool of patient by unnecessery lab test and demand high price of these test. Hbv is like tb when it become active no one knows so every six month regular monitoring is necesary.

Are procted from hbv in future.some time vaccine does not respond.
But it happen in only 5% cases
